The interior is lined with a plush, fiber-optic-light infused carpet, which twinkles through a rainbow of colors AND is soft to the touch. It does a remarkable job in absorbing ambient noise from the surrounding area, aiding in de-escalation. There is no electricity in the fiber optics - only light - which makes it safe and cool to the touch.
It is also a great gross-motor challenge. You can climb through the tunnel to take in the colorful rainbow of color-changing lights, OR you can climb up and over the tunnel due to its incredibly sturdy construction!
